Taking a direct inspiration from the iconic chevron pattern on the outer columns of the Taj, the Jannat necklace is as contemporary as it is traditional in design.

Iridescent mother of pearl and vibrant yellow Jaisalmer marble strips are accentuated by delicately chiseled, hairline pieces of ink black onyx to create a piece that shape-shifts with the light.

Inlaid on a white Makrana marble base. Encased in a 22 Carat gold micron-plated Mughal jali from behind.

Used primarily to create depth and contrast with the white marble at the Taj, the Jaisalmer marble is a versatile, durable material. It was hugely popular in Mughal marble inlay owing to its beautiful golden-yellow hues. Quarried primarily in Jaisalmer in Rajasthan, as its name suggests.

Associated with the divine feminine, Mother of pearl is an iridescent gemstone that was worn for protection, prosperity and emotional healing. It was often used to depict the moon, sacred to the Mughals. MOP was acquired from the Persian Gulf

An opulent, versatile stone, the midnight black of onyx is revered for its protective energy. Often paired with gold, onyx symbolised strength and resilience. Mughal onyx was mined and imported prominently from the Deccan Pleateau region in India.
