Mumtaz earrings
A quintessential part of Mughal gardenscapes, lillies were symbolic of peace, tranquility and love.
The Mumtaz earrings, a showstopping piece from the Taj collection, feature exquisitely crafted fiery red-orange lillies, brought to life in hand-picked carnelian and textured green malachite. The bloom is accentuated by hairline-thin slivers of iridescent mother of pearl, hand chilselled to match its flowy form. Finely detailed lilly buds decorate the hexagonal top. The piece is finished with a black onyx frame.
A one-of-a-kind wearble piece of art, which encapsulates the beauty and craftsmanship of the Taj on a miniature canvas. Inlaid in a white Makrana marble base. Encased in a 22 Carat gold micron-plated Mughal jali from behind.
