Shahzadi Earrings B&W - set of 2 pairs

Regular price Rs. 19,800.00

Minimalistic and yet the most complex pieces to shape and craft, the Shahzadi earrings are an ode to one of the most significant elements in Mughal design and astrology - the North star.

Symbolic of divine light, guidance, knowledge and spirituality, stars held great significance to the Mughals, which reflected in their numerous renditions of it, across artistic media. The Shahzadi earrings feature dangling stars with bold 8-petaled flowers inlaid on a precisely hand-cut, tabled marble base.

The white 'Shahzadi' earrings are inlaid with deep blue Lapis Lazuli, on a white Makrana marble base and encased in a 22 Carat gold micron-plated Mughal jali. The 'Shahzadi Noir' earrings are inlaid with iridescent Mother of pearl on a black Belgian marble base, encased in a silver-plated Mughal jali.
